My name is Maciej Latosik and I was born in Wrocław. History of my family is one among of thousands that can be told by of Wroclaw’s and Lower Silesia’s inhabitants. I’m a son, a grandson and great-grandson of Siberian exiles. Because of the fact that I had Lithuanian grandfather I’m very interested in history, culture, language and kitchen of Lithuania. I treat this country as my second homeland. Big part of my family still lives there. That’s why as a tour guide I specialize in Lithuania and Baltic States trips.
Sudety mountains are very important for me. Though they are not so high as Alps whenever I go trekking there I discover something new: architecture, nature, history, great views, wonderful people and harmony.
For more than 10 years I have been Wroclaw licensed city guide, Sudety mountain guide and foreign travel tour guide. I’m member in board of examiners for new Wroclaw city guides candidates organized by the authorities of Lower Silesia.
My passion comes from love to Wroclaw, Lower Silesia and Poland. I wish to pass my passion to visitors who often become my friends. This passion I want to transfer to visitors, who later very often become my friends.
My trips are adjusted to your interests and hobbies. Each journey is different. I offer interesting sightseeing for school groups and organize unforgettable trips for all families.
During my trips you will see the most important parts of Wroclaw and Lower Silesia, but also interesting places that cannot be found in Lonely Planet or other guide books.
In can narrate very difficult and complicated history of Poland in easy way. Of course I do the same with the current situation in Poland: social, political etc.
See you in Wroclaw, See you in Lower Silesia! :)
